Our Wines
Our focus is on making small lots of wines from select vineyard blocks reflecting diverse growing conditions and
microclimates from Virginia's best viticulture areas. This gives us the opportunity to produce unique wines that
truly represent the character and qualities of the grapes from those areas. Our philosophy allows the fruit to
be the primary determinant in our winemaking decisions. Annual production is less than 2000 cases, which allows
us to attend to cleanliness, detail and quality in our wines.

 2008 Pinot Grigio - Sold Out
This is a classic example of a Pinot Grigio and rivals our 2007 wine. The nose is packed with crisp intense aromas of bright spring and light
cream followed by a full pallet of gentle citrus fruit with a hint of spice and a soft creamy mouthfeel. You'll enjoy pairing this wine with
brunch fare like quiche, fruit and cheese, or calamari.

2007 Barrel Select Chardonnay -
Crafted in the sur-lie style & aged in Allier French Oak for 12 months, this barrel select wine is soft on the palate
with true chardonnay character. A wine of finesse with beautiful structure and a lingering oak finish;
Its notes of lemon and vanilla coupled with its clean finish make this chardonnay an excellent choice with shellfish,
salmon and similar dishes.

2007 Viognier
Our Viognier comes from South River Vineyards, owned and tended by Eugene Sullivan. South River
Vineyards is located in Green County, Virginia about 30 miles northwest of Charlottesville. Gadino Cellars Viognier was
barrel fermented in Hungarian oak puncheons for four months, our Viognier has intense aromas of orange, with hints of honeysuckle and a vanilla sweetness.
The mid-palate of pear and peach are mouth filling and flavorful with a soft, but persistent finish. With intense fruits showing, this wine pairs wonderfully
with roasted chicken or turkey dishes.

2006 Reserve Viognier - Sold Out
A wine of distinction, this fine Viognier presents orange/peach blossom aromas. An array of flavors fill the palate , beginning with tangerine and a hint of
peach, and finishing with toasty vanilla with fine acidity unmarred by heavy oak. This wine pairs exceptionally with shellfish, salmon and full flavored fish dishes as well as risotto.

Sunset - This delightful sipping wine is designed to be enjoyed with friends. It is clean, fruity, and refreshing with a lingering,

2007 Imagine - Sold Out
This is a big, deep red wine with a velvetly soft mouth feel and abundant fruitiness. It is a robust selection comprised of
Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc and a smaller amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. While the components of the wine are robust,
this was created to be an easy drinking wine to be enjoyed on its own, especially during the winter months around the

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon - Sold Out Aromas and flavors of ultra ripe Raspberries complimented with shades of roasted game and white pepper.

2007 Petit Verdot
Petit Verdot was originally known as the lesser known blender used in some of the Bordeaux blends to provide depth and color. In Virginia, the terroir leads to such an excellent
varietal character that in the best harvest years one should bottle the varietal rather then blend off this magnificent wine.
The 2007 vintage is a full bodied, complex wine with rich tannins and earthy nuances. Look for layers of well ripened black currant, tobacco leaf and violets on the palate.
Stash in the cellar for softer tannins over time. This wine summons steak or other hearty beef dishes to the dinner table.

2006 Delfino Rosso- Sold Out A unique bordeaux blend with Petit Verdot as the main component. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon complete the Meritage like
blend. Aged for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, this wine has a rich purple color, firm tannins and an exotic floral and spicy aromas and taste.
